Harbin Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (Harbin) has signed a firm order for two Y12Es with Las Vegas-based Coptervision (Las Vegas Harry Reid) with delivery scheduled for late 2015. The deal was first announced at this year's 10th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition held in Zhuhai.
The turboprops, which will be used for sightseeing and cargo flights from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, are the first Chinese commercial aircraft to be certified for use in the United States.
