Satena (9R, Bogotá) has signed a firm order with with China's AVIC International for three more Harbin Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (Harbin) Y12Es. The order, which was announced late last month as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), includes provision for the establishment of a spares depot in Colombia.
Owned by the Colombian government, Satena already operates two of the type on flights to remote domestic destinations.
