Adria Airways (Ljubljana) has announced it will suspend its Maribor-London Southend operations with effect from September 30 until at least spring of next year.

The service launched in June on a seasonal basis with a decision on its shift to a year-round operation expected after the first three months.

As such, reports indicate that while the 3x weekly service has generated a small loss, Adria is still considering resuming it again next year.
