Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane International) has secured a new five year charter contract with mining operator BHP Billiton.

The contract, that will run from 2016 to 2021, replacing an existing deal between the two parties will include 15 weekly flights linking Adelaide International with Olympic Dam.

Alliance operates a Fokker fleet consisting of five Fokker 50s, eight Fokker 70s and fifteen F100s. It operates on a scheduled basis between Perth International and Karratha as well as between Brisbane and Emerald. All other flights are on a charter basis, mainly on behalf of companies active in Australia's natural resources sector.
