Jetstar Airways (JQ, Melbourne Airport) has transitioned its widebody operations to an all-B787 fleet with the completion of its last A330-200-operated commercial flight - JQ6 - touching down in Brisbane International from Honolulu on Friday, September 25.

As it stands, the LCC's last remaining widebody Airbus - VH-EBE (cn 842) - will be ferried to Singapore Changi where it will undergo reconfiguration before being delivered to parent Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith).

Jetstar's widebody operations include eleven B787-8s used on flights between Brisbane International, Cairns, Gold Coast Coolangatta, Melbourne Airport, and Sydney Kingsford Smith domestically and internationally to Auckland International, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Denpasar, Honolulu, Osaka Kansai, Phuket, Singapore Changi, and Tokyo Narita.
