Alitalia (AZA, Rome Fiumicino) has started codesharing on Kuwait Airways' (KU/Kuwait) three times weekly Rome Fiumicino-Kuwait route. It will resume daily MD-82 service from Milan Malpensa to Brindisi on June 2. The Italian government has selected Italian bank Unicredit, Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino) parent AP Holding and private equity investment groups Texas Pacific, Matlin Patterson and Management & Capitali as candidates to acquire at least a 30% stake in Alitalia from the government.
