Caribbean Helicopters (Antigua) has signed a bespoke charter agreement with fellow Antiguan operator LIAT (Antigua and Barbuda) (Antigua) wherein the former will operate charter flights into select Caribbean markets on behalf of the latter.

Despite its name, Caribbean Helicopters also operates a small fleet of Piper (twin piston) Navajo Chieftain PA31-350 and Britten-Norman BN-2 aircraft which LIAT says will prove ideal for flights to smaller islands in the region where demand is thinner.

The contract's initial services will commence on January 22 with daily return flights from Antigua to Dominica Cane Field and the island of Nevis in St Kitts & Nevis.

LIAT operates an all-turborop fleet of five ATR42-600s, four ATR72-600s, and three Dash 8-300s.
