Toulouse-based catering and hospitality firm Newrest is one of three firms vying for Air France's stake in its in-house catering unit, Servair.

Newrest's CEO Olivier Sadran told France's BFM Business newspaper that the other candidates include Gategroup (Switzerland) and Do & Co (Austria). Under Newrest's control, Servair would integrate into its already extensive portfolio of contracts which include French rail firm, SNCF.

Air France (AF, Paris CDG) is in the process of selling a majority shareholding in Servair with plans to retain only a small minority stake in the profitable unit.
