Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has rescinded a ban on flights to Turkey after that country provided assurances of improved security measures at all its airports.

As a result of the embargo's upliftment, Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) and Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) restarted scheduled flights between Russia and Turkey on Friday, July 22.
