NewLeaf (Winnipeg International) is set to make its international debut early next year with regular flights to Mesa Gateway Airport in the southwest US state of Arizona.

The virtual carrier said in a statement that 3x weekly flights from Calgary would start on January 19, followed by a weekly service from Edmonton International on January 21.

Operations are on-board B737-400 equipment chartered from Flair Airlines (F8, Kelowna).

NewLeaf offers budget flights across Canada with destinations including Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, ON, Kelowna, Winnipeg International and Moncton.

It also plans to introduce a new seasonal route from Hamilton to Melbourne, FL.
