Adria Airways (Ljubljana) is considering launching flights to Tehran Imam Khomeini, Iran, on June 1, Slovenian aviation news portal Sierra 5 has reported quoting reliable, if unofficial, information. Should it proceed, the 3x weekly route would be serviced with A319-100 equipment.

As well as its three A319-100s, the Slovenian carrier also operates three CRJ700s and six CRJ900s on regular flights to twenty-one destinations in nineteen countries around Western Europe, Scandinavia, Eastern and Central Europe, Russia, and Israel.
