Virgin Australia (VA, Brisbane International) has concluded Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) operations following its last commercial E190 flight on February 3, 2018. According to Flightradar24 ADS-B data, VH-ZPH (msn 19000199) operated its last service as flight VA1105 from Newcastle Williamtown to Brisbane International.

As it stands, Virgin Australia's fleet is centred around Airbus, Boeing and ATR - Avions de Transport Régional equipment namely six A330-200s, eight ATR72-600s, two B737-700s, and sixty-five B737-800s. In addition, Virgin Australia International (VA, Brisbane International) operates 15 B737-800s and five B777-300ERs while Virgin Australia Regional (VA, Perth International) operates two A320-200s and 14 F100s.

The reduction in fleet complexity is expected to improve the carrier's overall financial performance.
