Avia Nova (Russian Federation) (Moscow Sheremetyevo) is the final name of a project previously known as A1. It will launch operations as a low-cost carrier later this summer from Moscow Vnukovo with two ex-US Airways (US/Phoenix) A320-200s. The carrier is owned by Alfa Group which holds 51% of the shares in the start-up and US investment companies Texas Pacific and Indigo Partners.
