Ukraine International Airlines (PS, Kyiv Boryspil) has launched and announced new routes: Donetsk-Dubrovnik: weekly seasonal B737-500 service between June 5 and September 18 Kiev Borispol-Brussels Ntl: 5x weekly B737-500 service resuming on September 20 (had been suspended since June 25) Kiev Borispol-Donetsk: 2x daily B737-500 service has started on April 27 Kiev Borispol-Geneva: 3x weekly B737-500 service has started on April 28 Kiev Borispol-Split: weekly seasonal B737-500 service has started on May 4 Kiev Borispol-Tel Aviv Ben Gurion: 5x weekly B737-500 service has started on May 18 Lviv-Donetsk: 2x weekly B737-400 service has started on June 2 UIA will temporarily suspend its Lviv-Milan Malpensa route for the winter season as of October 3. It has signed a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways (EY/Abu Dhabi Intl) covering the Kiev Borispol-Abu Dhabi Intl route flown by UIA and several destinations in the Middle East and Africa on Etihad services from Abu Dhabi. It has given up its short-lived cooperation with Wind Rose Aviation (7W/Kiev Borispol) that now has joined forces with UIA competitor Aerosvit Airlines (VV/Kiev Borispol). Austrian Airlines (OS/Vienna) has sold its 23% stake in UIA earlier this year.
