American Jet (Argentina) (AJB, San Fernando, AR) has taken delivery of its first Embraer Regional Jet following the arrival of LV-ISA (msn 145240) at Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery on December 16.
According to Skyliner Aviation, the 19-year-old twinjet was ferried to Argentina from Jacksonville International, FL via Kingston Norman Manley and Cuenca. It is currently at Buenos Aires Morón.
American Jet was granted 13 route authorities covering flights from Neuquén to various points across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, and the Falkland Islands/Islas Malvinas during an Argetina government proceeding in 2017.
At present, the carrier specializes in passenger charter flights using a fleet of one ATR42-300 and one Do228 as well as several other business jets, turboprops and helicopters.
