Kolob Canyons Air Services (KCR, Cedar City) has added its first DC-9-10 in a VIP configuration in the form of N8860 (msn 45797), ch-aviation analysis of the FAA aircraft registry shows.
The 53-year-old aircraft was previously operated by Scaife - Flight Operations (Latrobe). It was also operated as a personal aircraft for Glenn Beck, a conservative media commentator and was owned by his company Mercury Radio Arts.
Kolob Canyons Air Services has thus far focused on cargo charters. The airline says on its website that it operates Metroliner IIIs, a Learjet 35, and Turbo Commander 690. The ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module also shows that the carrier has one stored ATR 42-300(F).
