Continent-Avia (Moscow Vnukovo) has been forced to suspend its operations on July 30 when Rosaviatsia, the Russian civil aviation authority, has cancelled its air operator certificate because of financial difficulties reportedly caused by unauthorized aircraft purchase transactions made by its general director. It had operated several Tu-154Ms on domestic services.
