China Southern in talks to join oneworld - reports

China's biggest airline quit rival alliance Skyteam in 2018 and has since focused on individually negotiated partnerships and joint ventures. According to Bloomberg, oneworld member airlines are keen to recruit China Southern Airlines to tap into an anticipated travel boom in and out of China once that country winds back its travel restrictions, and membership discussions are underway.
oneworld has 13 full-member airlines including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, JAL - Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, and SriLankan Airlines while Oman Air is readying to join the group and Russia's S7 Airlines is currently suspended. oneworld is the smallest of the major airline alliances, with Star Alliance having 26 airlines in its ranks and SkyTeam having 18 member airlines.

Royal Jordanian selects E2s for regional renewal, growth
07.10.2022 - 00:27 UTCRoyal Jordanian (RJ, Amman Queen Alia) has selected Embraer E2s for the renewal of its regional fleet and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for ten aircraft, covering both the E190-E2 and the E195-E2, to significantly grow its regional fleet.
The airline said that the deliveries would take place "over the next several years" but did not disclose the exact split of the order between the two variants. The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows that the carrier's current regional fleet comprises two E175s (14.3 years old on average) and two E195s (15 years), all of which are owned by the airline.
The E195-E2s will seat 12 passengers in business class and 108 in economy, while the E190-E2s will be configured for 12 and 80 passengers in the respective classes.
