Oryx Jet (London Luton), a British virtual passenger charter specialist, has retired its only B737-300, Skyliner Aviation has reported.

9H-ZAK (msn 24678), which was operated on behalf of Oryx Jet by its commercial partner Maleth-Aero (DB, Malta International), was withdrawn from commercial operations in May 2020, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. It was ferried for maintenance to Rzeszow Jasionka on June 18, 2020, where it remained through July 5, 2021. Subsequently, it was ferried via Almaty International to Changchun. The 31.2-year-old aircraft was originally delivered to Philippine Airlines in 1990.

Maleth-Aero continues to operate two B737-500s on behalf of Oryx Jet, the ch-aviation fleets module shows. The Maltese ACMI/charter specialist operates another B737-300, although it has been stored since March 2020. The airline's fleet also comprises four A330-200s, four A340-600s, one B737-300(F), and one E145.
