Maleth-Aero (DB, Malta International) has announced it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with UK-based executive aviation specialist Oryx Jet (London Luton) wherein the two will combine their respective industry expertise to further their B737 VIP charter operations and ACMI activities.

Under the terms of the deal, disclosed last week in a press communique, Malta-based Maleth-Aero said it would focus on a wide range of services including aircraft management and charters while Oryx Jet would handle the VIP sales for the B737s.

“Unlike the majority of Aircraft Management organisations, we maintain a strict policy of transparency so our clients are clear on the cost base of our products and services," Maleth Chief Executive Officer, Michael O’Brien said discussing the partnership.

"When we met with Oryx Jet it was immediately evident that together we could not only create fiscal efficiencies but by combining our fleets we could have a greater market coverage. The Oryx aircraft are in excellent condition, having been recently refurbished. These planes will expand our existing offering of Boeing 737 fleet in VIP, standard airline configuration, quick change plus dedicated freighter alongside our Bombardier Global Vision, Bombardier Aerospace Challenger 605 and Cessna Citation Bravo aircraft.”

According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, Maleth-Aero operates a single B737-700(BBJ1) - the 19-seater 9H-GGG (msn 40119) - while Oryx Jet has a pair of B737-500s that are currently awaiting deployment into service after being registered in Malta as 9H-MAC (msn 24968) and 9H-VOX (msn 24919).
