easyJet Switzerland (DS, Geneva) took delivery of its first A320-200N on November 9, 2021, and began its commercial operations on November 12.

HB-AYE (msn 10114) was delivered to the Swiss unit of easyJet (London Luton) directly from the manufacturer site at Toulouse Blagnac. The aircraft is based out of Geneva; its first commercial operation was to Santiago de Compostela.

easyJet Switzerland announced earlier this year that it would add five A320-200Ns by the end of 2021. It appears to have slightly revised the timeline as it has now disclosed that all five will join its fleet "by the first quarter of 2022", The airline said the A320-200Ns would be based out of Geneva and Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH but did not specify how many aircraft would operate out of each of the two bases.

The Swiss carrier also operates five A319-100s and twenty-two A320-200s. It said the A320-200Ns would replace older aircraft rather than provide growth.

The A320neo family fleet operated by easyJet Group also includes four A321-200NXs operated by easyJet Europe (EC, Vienna), as well as thirty-seven A320-200Ns and ten A321-200NXs operated by easyJet UK (U2, London Luton), the ch-aviation fleets module shows.
