The third twinjet, LY-GYM (msn 2584), was ferried to Baku on November 2 from Malta International, where it had been stored. Sweden’s BRA applies for creditor protection
19.10.2023 - 20:17 UTCBRA - Braathens Regional Airlines (Stockholm Bromma) has applied for corporate restructuring in Sweden under a process it says is similar to the Chapter 11 procedure in the United States, for seven of the thirteen companies in the group. It is also “considering broadening its ownership.”
The company pledged in a statement on October 19 that air operations would continue as planned and that its passengers would not be affected. It claims to have been “heavily negatively affected” by exchange rates due to the weak Swedish krona as well as delays in deliveries due to global capacity shortages of aircraft and spare parts, resulting in large one-off costs.
“Right now a number of unfortunate factors have put us in a difficult situation,” said the carrier’s chairman and owner, Per G Braathen. “The decision to apply for reorganisation is necessary in order to take responsibility for jobs, the aviation infrastructure in Sweden, and the business in the long term.”
The airline currently operates a fleet of fourteen ATR72-600s, leased through AOC holder BRA...

"Direct flights to Kenya take as long as 11 hours, which is a serious challenge for flight planners, pilots, and flight attendants. Therefore, we chose our flight partner very responsibly. The decision to work with GetJet Airlines was determined by their long-term experience, indisputable professionalism, and reliability," Itaka Lithuania CEO Leonidas Močeņovs said.
The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows that Lithuanian ACMI/charter specialist operates five A320-200s, one A321-200, and five B737-800s.
