FedEx Express (FX, Memphis International) has agreed with United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) to acquire 14 of United B757-200s that will be converted to freighters for the logistics giant between 2013 and 2015. FedEx also has the option to acquire another 16 aircraft from United at a later stage. United currently operates 132 B757-200s, FedEx already has 79 of the aircraft although 15 are still undergoing or awaiting freighter conversion.
