Dobrolet (Moscow Sheremetyevo) will take delivery of a new B737-800 from Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services (AWAS) following an agreement between the lessor and Dobrolet's parent, Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo). The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2014. Based in the Moscow region, Dobrolet will launch operations in Spring 2014 using a fleet of B737-800s. The LCC will service the domestic Russian market as well as routes to Eastern Europe, Germany, Italy and the Middle East. Dobrolet is the original name of Aeroflot's predecessor; a joint-stock company established in 1923.
