Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International) is considering withdrawing from the Japanese market Reuters has reported. Quoting an undisclosed airline source, the newswire says the carrier blames poor slot time allocations and runway limitations for negatively impacting the profitability of its Japanese flights.

The carrier is reportedly in "final deliberations" apropos the future of its Japanese flights which include Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Haneda.
