TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas) took delivery of its first A350-900 on Thursday, December 17. PR-XTA (cn 24) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Belo Horizonte Tancredo Neves and before arriving at São Paulo Guarulhos on Saturday, December 19.
The LATAM unit has twenty-seven of the type on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). The type's maiden commercial flight - São Paulo Guarulhos-Manaus International - is currently scheduled for January 25. Longhaul flights to Miami International are still slated for March and to Madrid Barajas for April.
