Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) Commercial Director, Alastair Kiernan, says the UK ACMI/charter specialist is looking to add its first Airbus widebody aircraft to its inventory next year.

In an interview with Routes Online, Kiernan said Titan was expecting its first A330 during spring of 2017 alongside its maiden A319-100.

At present, Titan Airways operates a mixed Airbus and Boeing fleet made up of three A320-200s, one A321-200, two B737-300(QC)s, two B757-200s, and one B767-300(ER). Its customers currently include: Sweden's Novair; Norwegian Air International; Jet2 (United Kingdom); and Vueling Airlines.

Given the seasonality of the European market, Titan Airways is also looking to secure Northern wintertime contracts in Asia, Australasia, the United States and Canada, Kiernan added.
