Primera Air Scandinavia (Billund) will introduce scheduled flights from Stockholm Arlanda next summer season in a bid to strengthen its operations in Sweden and Scandinavia in general.

The Danish leisure operator will launch three weekly services to each of Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino from May 22 and May 23, 2017 respectively. The airline’s Commercial Vice President Anastasija Visnakova said in a press release that the new flights will significantly increase Primera's presence in Sweden, while additional destinations will be introduced as a result of a planned fleet expansion.

At present, Primera Air Scandinavia operates charter flights from Stockholm to Antalya and Gothenburg Landvetter. It maintains operations with a fleet of two B737-800s.
