IndiGo Airlines (6E, Delhi International) has taken delivery of its first of fifty ATR72-600s on order from ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac). VT-IYA (msn 1457) was positioned from Toulouse Blagnac to Delhi International via Brindisi and Irakleion this past weekend.
The turboprop will make its commercial debut on December 21 between Hyderabad International and Mangalore Bajpe. Thereafter, it will be used to develop connectivity between Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru International, Mangalore, Madurai, Nagpur, Tirupati, and Rajahmundry.
