AirAsia Group has incorporated a consultancy subsidiary in Thailand, AirAsia Group (IHQ) Ltd., which would provide services to other subsidiaries and affiliates of the group.
The new subsidiary has a registered capital of THB20 million baht (USD620,000). AirAsia Group holds a 99.99% share in the unit, with less than 0.01% stock held by three unnamed individuals.
AirAsia Group said that the incorporation of the subsidiary would proceed immediately as it does not need approval from all shareholders.
