Tchadia Airlines (N'Djamena) has commenced operations using a single Dash 8-400 chartered from technical partner and 49% shareholder Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International).

ET-AQE (msn 4428) arrived in N'Djamena on Saturday, September 29, and was deployed into service, as expected on Monday, October 1 plying routes from Ndjamena to each of Abéché (via Faya-Largeau) and Sarh (via Moundou). Flights to Douala (Cameroon), Bangui (Central African Republic) and Niamey (Niger) will roll out over the coming days at which time a second Q400 is expected to arrive.

Tchadia Airlines is a 51/49 joint venture between the Chadian government and Ethiopian Airlines.
