flydubai (FZ, Dubai International) has announced it will operate flights to 39 cities from Dubai World Central (DWC) for the duration of Dubai International (DXB)'s southern runway refurbishment works due to take place next year.

The Emirati carrier said in a statement that over the 45-day period running from April 16 to May 30, 2019, it would serve the following cities from DWC (those denoted with an * will be available from both DXB and DWC for the duration of works):

Following the completion of the runway enhancement project on May 30, 2019, flydubai will resume its flights to these 39 destinations from Dubai International (DXB) exclusively, with the exception of Amman and Beirut which are currently the only two destinations it serves from DWC year-round.
