Silver Air (United States of America) (SIS, Fresno Yosemite) has announced it has officially opened its US East Coast base of operations at Teterboro Airport with a single Gulfstream V jet now available for charter.

“Teterboro is one of the most popular airports for private jet travellers out of Manhattan and other New York and New Jersey locations, and our GV will support cross-country and international flights. It’s perfect for corporate and leisure travel to Europe and other far-reaching destinations,” Charles Stumpf, Silver Air President of Business Development, said in a statement.

According to the California-headquartered private jet management and charter company, the new Teterboro location is the latest in its expanding footprint across the United States, with operations based in Southern California, Northern California, Texas and now New Jersey.

“The Teterboro move was a strategic decision made with the GV owner to support their goals while expanding Silver Air’s charter operations,” Stumpf added.

Aside from Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, Silver Air’s fleet also includes Dassault Aviation, Bombardier Aerospace, Embraer, Cessna Aircraft Company, and Hawker Beechcraft jets as well as two B737-700(BBJ)s.
