Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) is planning to provide a daily service to Paris Orly from early 2020, in addition to its existing services to Paris CDG.

From March 29, 2020, the Skyteam airline will offer an A320-200 service from its main hub at Moscow Sheremetyevo. Aeroflot currently provides 42x weekly flights from St. Petersburg and Sheremetyevo to CDG. According to the ch-aviation schedules module, Paris will become the only city in its European network to have flights to two of its main airports.

Aeroflot has also recently filed changes to its Tokyo operation, as the airline plans to switch its Sheremetyevo route from Tokyo Narita to Tokyo Haneda from March 29, 2020. The daily nine-hour, 25-minute sector utilises a B777-300(ER).

On November 29, Aeroflot Group announced that it was planning to expand its fleet by 31 aircraft up to 398 in 2020, with its low-cost carrier Pobeda (DP, Moscow Sheremetyevo) being the group's main growth driver.

Next year, the group will introduce the new wide-body A350-900s to its fleet (11 units scheduled to arrive by the end of the year), with its first service with the type being from Sheremetyevo to Osaka Kansai, starting on June 15, 2020. To facilitate the necessary number of regional aircraft in its fleet, Aeroflot Group will also lease an additional five regional SSJ 100/95s, with delivery anticipated during 4Q 2019.

The group's Board of Directors also approved infrastructure development at Sheremetyevo, as well as the launch of a new hub in Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo in its 2020 budget.
