From May 2020, Condor (DE, Frankfurt International) will again offer long-haul services from Munich with a single B767-300(ER) based at the Bavarian gateway. It will offer Cancún, Halifax, Punta Cana (all once weekly), as well as Seattle Tacoma International (3x weekly).

"With the additional long-haul flights next summer, we are ideally expanding our existing summer flight schedule 2020 - not only with the new destination Edmonton International in Canada from Frankfurt, but also with the non-stop connections from Munich," Ralf Teckentrup, Chief Executive Officer of Condor, said in a statement. "We are thus offering our guests in southern Germany an even greater selection of direct connections to their holidays and are strengthening our presence in Munich with a stationed long-haul aircraft."

The airline also recently added three short- and medium-haul destinations to its network, with Paphos being served from Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, and Leipzig/Halle, as well as Tivat and Toulon being operated from Frankfurt.

It will add another Canadian destination to its Frankfurt Int'l network for the Summer 2020 season as the leisure carrier adds service to Edmonton.

As of June 2020, the route to the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta is offered 2x weekly. Flight DE2468 is operated by the airline's fleet of 15 B767-300(ER)s on the nine-hour, 45-minute sector. The service leaves Germany at 1735L and arrives in Canada at 1920L. Departures from Edmonton are at 2120L, with the overnight flight landing back in Frankfurt at 1445L the next day.

The Edmonton route joins Condor's existing Summer 2020 season Canadian flights from Frankfurt to Calgary (3x weekly), Halifax (4x weekly), Toronto Pearson (5x weekly), Vancouver International (5x weekly) and Whitehorse International (once weekly).

In addition to the Edmonton service, Condor will add a summer season, once weekly service to Bridgetown from Frankfurt, complementing its existing winter operation. As a result, the airline will offer 33 long-haul destinations from its biggest base next summer.
