EcoJet (8J, Cochabamba) has taken delivery of its first Boeing (BOE, Washington National) aircraft, Skyliner Aviation has reported.

Formerly N622SW with Southwest Airlines (WN, Dallas Love Field), B737-300 CP-3136 (msn 27932) was ferried from San José Juan Santamaría to Cochabamba on December 21 where it is currently being painted into the Bolivian carrier's livery.

EcoJet currently operates five owned ARJ-85s on scheduled flights to nine cities and towns across Bolivia. The BAe Systems quadjets, which average around 24 years of age, were upgraded and certified in 2013 to operate to/from high altitude airports such as La Paz El Alto and the particularly challenging Potosí Capitan Nicolas Rojas, where few aircraft can safely operate.
