TAP Aviation (São Paulo Congonhas) has added a first Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft for charter, a G150, ch-aviation research shows.
The 17-year-old jet, PR-SMG (msn 267), is configured for up to eight passengers and is mostly active out of São Paulo Congonhas. Operated by TAP Aviation since late 2023, it is now available for air taxi operations following a period between April 23 and June 17 during which it was parked at Curitiba International.
Brazil's civil aviation authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil - ANAC) records show that the G150 was included on the company's RBAC 135 certificate for air taxi operations in August 2024.
TAP Aviation's charter fleet now comprises the newly added G150 and four Citation Jet 2s, one of which was added in May. The company also operates a Citation M2, inducted in April, and a Citation Excel added in May, although these two are not available for air taxi operations. An additional Citation Jet 2 has remained stored since earlier this year.
