Premier Air Charter (San Diego McClellan Palomar) has added a first Challenger 604, the company announced.

“This addition gives us the flexibility to expand our footprint along the Eastern Seaboard as well, a region experiencing substantial growth,” president Ross Gourdie said.

The 29.2-year-old aircraft, N604LL (msn 5321), is configured for up to 12 passengers. Formerly operated privately in the United States, the jet had been based at San Diego McClellan Palomar, where it has remained parked since December 9.

Premier Air Charter's Part 135-certified fleet as of July included two other Challenger-series aircraft, namely two Challenger 601-3Rs, averaging 30 years in age. In an exclusive interview with ch-aviation earlier this year, Gourdie revealed plans to add “more modern Bombardier Business Aircraft”, including the Challenger 604, Challenger 605, or Challenger 300.

The carrier's certificate additionally comprised a Citation Jet 2, two Citation Jet 3s inducted in January, and three Citation X jets.

Premier Air Charter further maintained a partnership with Paradigm Jet Management (Muskegon), placing a GIV and a GIV-SP under the latter's certificate. The company had planned to bring both jets in‑house in the third quarter of 2025, following completion of large aircraft certification, a segment Gourdie aims to expand.
