British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has announced plans to use some of the new slots it has received at London Heathrow as part of the acquisition of bmi british midland (Nottingham East Midlands) to introduce new short-haul services to Leeds/Bradford, Rotterdam and Zagreb Franjo Tuđman from the end of October. BA has temporarily wet-leased B757-200 G-ZAPX (MSN 29309) from Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) to replace one of its B737-400s (G-DOCU, MSN 25854) that is currently being repaired after being damaged by ground equipment at Genoa on April 30.
