Aer Arann Regional (Dublin International) has placed a firm order for eight ATR 72-600s at this week's Farnborough Air Show. The aircraft are expected to be delivered from early 2013 and will replace some of the carrier's older ATR 42-300 and ATR 72-200 aircraft. Aer Arann Regional currently operates four ATR 42-300s, four ATR 72-200s and four ATR 72-500s under a franchise agreement with Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin International).
