OLT Express Germany (Bremen Hans Koschnick) has announced officially announced plans for the first bases for its new low-cost carrier style operation with the Contact Air (Stuttgart) F100s. It will acquire Contact in early September and take over the carrier’s wet-lease agreement with Swiss (LX, Zurich) for two Fokker 100s. The other six Contact Air Fokker 100s will be used for new scheduled routes. From Münster/Osnabrück it will serve Berlin Schönefeld and Munich twice daily, Stuttgart and Vienna daily, Paris CDG four times and Milan Malpensa three times weekly. From Saarbrücken OLT will operate to Munich twice daily, to Hamburg daily and also offer international flights to Vienna four times and London Southend three times weekly. Flights from Saarbrücken will be launched on October 1 while its operation at Münster/Osnabrück is scheduled to start on October 15. In addition based on a full schedule unintentionally made public last week, it also plans to introduce new routes from Dresden (from where it already serves Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel and Zurich) to Budapest, London Southend and Vienna as well as from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden to Hamburg and Vienna.
