Pegasus Airlines (PC, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen) has incorporated Pegasus Europe BV, a Dutch subsidiary which will be used for the acquisition of Smartwings (Czechia) (QS, Prague Václav Havel). The new company, with a launch paid-up capital of EUR1 euro (USD1.2), was registered on December 11, 2025, and is headquartered in Amsterdam. The publicly available Dutch company register does not disclose shareholders, but Pegasus previously told ch-aviation that it will fully own the subsidiary, benefitting from the dual citizenship of its shareholders to achieve the necessary majority EU ownership.
