LAN Airlines (Santiago de Chile) will launch four times weekly A320-200 service from Santiago de Chile via Puerto Montt International to Castro, CL on November 7. The construction work for the new Castro airport on Chiloé island is about to be completed this winter and will then be introduced with LAN scheduled flights in spring. The island had so far only been accessible by ferry.
