Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) has finalized an order for five B747-8s originally announced in March 2011 but not yet confirmed until now. It plans to take delivery of the aircraft in 2014 and 2015 and the new B747-8Is are expected to replace its four B747-400s. Air China will also retire its five B747-400(M)s over the course until mid-2013.
