Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) has announced two additional bases for the upcoming summer season when it will base one B737-800 each at Chania and Zadar. From Zadar Ryanair will increase the number of destinations served from 9 to 16 introducing new routes to Dublin International, Nottingham East Midlands, Gothenburg City, Haugesund, Liverpool, Paris Beauvais and Wroclaw. From Chania Ryanair will offer a total of 26 routes this summer with new routes to Billund, Bremen Hans Koschnick, Bristol International, Eindhoven, Katowice Pyrzowice, Marseilles, Memmingen, Thessaloniki, Venice Marco Polo, Vilnius and Warsaw Modlin. The route between Chania and Thessaloniki will be its first domestic route served in Greece. Ryanair has taken delivery of its last B737-800 on order, EI-EVY (MSN 40319), on December 17. It currently operates 305 B737-800s and has already disposed of a total of 43 aircraft over the years that it had originally also taken delivery of.
