Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) has secured sale and leaseback financing commitments for the expected deliveries of new A320neo-family deliveries during 2025 and all planned 2026 deliveries into the third quarter of that year.

According to the carrier’s financial results, Frontier Airlines expects to add thirteen more Airbus aircraft during the remainder of 2025, namely seven A320-200Ns and six A321-200NX. In 2026, it aims to receive twenty-three aircraft - eight more A320neo and fifteen more A321neo - although it was not disclosed how many it expects quarterly.

At the end of the second quarter of 2025, Frontier Airlines had commitments for a total of 180 aircraft to be delivered until 2031, including twenty-seven A320-200Ns and 153 A321-200NX.

ch-aviation data shows its fleet currently comprises six A320-200s, eighty-two A320-200Ns, twenty-one A321-200s, and fifty-six A321-200NX.

The ultra-low-cost carrier closed the first half of the year with total operating revenues worth USD1.8 billion and a USD113 million net loss.
