Air Costa (Vijayawada) will lease an ex-Gulf Air (GF, Bahrain International) E170 (c/n 17000278) from ECC Leasing to launch domestic operations in the South of India. It plans to initially serve Ahmedabad, Bengaluru International, Chennai, Hyderabad International, Pune and Vishakhapatnam from its homebase at Vijayawada. Air India (AI, Delhi International), Jet Airways (Mumbai International) and SpiceJet (SG, Delhi International) currently serve the airport already.
