Hawaiian Airlines (HA, Honolulu) has announced that its regional partner Empire Airlines (EM, Coeur d'Alene Pappy Boyington) will operate the two ex-CSA Czech Airlines (Prague Václav Havel) ATR 42-500s it has recently acquired under the 'Ohana by Hawaiian brand on inter-island routes. Hawaiian plans to use its new regional operation to enter the Lanai City and Kaunakakai markets from Honolulu competing against Island Air (Hawaii) (Honolulu) and Mokulele Airlines (MHO, Kona) on these routes.
