JetBlue Airways (B6, New York JFK) has become the launch customer for Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) sharklet retrofit kits announcing it has signed a Letter of Intent with the European aircraft manufacturer for 110 of its 126 A320-200s currently already in operation. The sharklets will be delivered from 2014 onwards. All future A320-200s to be delivered to jetBlue will already be fitted with sharklets prior to delivery as it has been the case with the airline's 127th A320-200 N821JB (c/n 5417) recently delivered on December 18, 2012.
