Wizz Air Ukraine (Kyiv Igor Sikorsky) is to axe its sole domestic Ukrainian flight, Kyiv Igor Sikorsky to the Crimean city of Simferopol, with effect from July 5. The route is unique in that it was the carrier's first regular flight when it débuted in Ukrainian skies in 2008. While Wizz Aiir has offered no explanation for the cancellation, the delay in the addition of a fourth A320-200 to the Ukrainian carrier's fleet is the likely explanation for the schedule change.
